A drummer, producer, and audio editor from West Des Moines, Iowa, Zane Gedler graduated from Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) in 2017 with a degree in Professional Music (emphasis in Performance and Music Business). Now settled in Des Moines, he has previously lived in Los Angeles and Nashville.

Zane has played in numerous venues around Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and Nashville. He has worked with Nashville artists Baerd and Jake Byrne. A frequent hire by artists and musicians in Des Moines, you can catch him playing on Walnut Street in the Western Gateway - a regular at both Noce Jazz & Cabaret and The Cave.

Off the bandstand, Zane teaches private lessons to students of all ages. He teaches at Bergman Academy, School for Musical Vocations, and Drake University’s Community School of Music. Zane is also an avid music creator and has a passion for recording drums.

Zane also audio edits for sound library companies The Loop Loft and Yurt Rock, helping create releases for musicians like Matt Chamberlain, Satnam Ramgotra, Butch Vig, Clyde Stubblefield, Rich Redmond, Joey Waronker, Nate Smith, Antonio Sanchez, and Larry Goldings.
